Thanks for sending me a picture of Spencer and friends.  It was good to see them. It’s been rough out here but I will continue to work hard. Our teaching pool is getting built back up again and we are making a big push with getting recent converts to the temple. Transfers are coming up soon and I’m not sure if I will leave or stay. This past week has been busy and stressful.  I am serving in a new ward so they have to make new callings for everyone and it seems like the gaps are filled in by the missionaries.   We are keeping busy.

 I went fishing for p-day and caught 8 trout so I don’t need to get groceries, and that helps because I’m poor. We have been doing a lot of knocking and finding, we have found a few people, but nothing amazing. I will have to just keep truck-in along.

Sermon on the Mount - May 15, 2016

Ye are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in Heaven.  Matthew 5:14-16

I received another text today from a sister in the ward he serves in.  He played the piano and sang a medley at the baptism he had.  We are proud of his service.

ELDER CHACON'S LETTER

I had another amazing week!  We had three Baptisms, and now we can relax for a little bit (ha ha) we have three more on date for next week!  My mission is going by way to fast.  I will be hitting 10 months shortly, friends are graduating from high school and other friends are leaving on missions. It’s weird!   I am very tired, but enjoy working in the office along with my other missionary responsibilities. I don’t feel like I’m on a mission sometimes, it just feels like normal life, and I get nervous for "regular life".

Harrison wrote this letter the day after our Mother's Day call that was AWESOME!!!

It was nice to talk to you too:) We have a baptism tomorrow for Alondra Rodriguez, and this saturday will be Athena, Ameria, And arrorah. Next week we will have jay taylors baptism. Pray for jimmy, he is going through a hard time. Well you already know how my week is going haha. I love you guys a ton.

Mother's Day Call

Luckily, I get to talk to you in person this Sunday because I don’t have time today.  I only have two prep hours today because I am working with Excel and it is hard trying to figure things out without Google.  I then have to drive out to the bottom of our mission and help move other missionary’s and we are leaving early so we can have time to teach people this evening. 

I will be knocking doors on Sunday until 7:00, so maybe I can call around 7:15ish?  I will get a hold of you to let you know exactly when.  Sorry I didn’t have time to write a good letter.  Please come up with some questions that you would like to ask me.  

Wow, the mission is going by really fast!!
